Nathalie Boutet, a Toronto collaborative and mediation lawyer is turning accepted notions of how to pracice law on its head. A student of neuroscience, Nathalie uses techniques from this brain science to help generate more positive outcomes for her clients.
Her conference, which Eva Innes Consulting Ltd helped to organize, takes place on Thursday Feb. 9th at I King West hotel, in the heart of downtown Toronto from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
This integrative approach to law and neuroscience will give mediators, therapists and counsellors additional tools to:
• Understand the very difficult environment that clients go through during the legal process
• Help clients recognize the brain patterns that might get triggered before and during the legal separation process
• Self-reflect on how their own brain patterns will surface when they guide clients, and
• Act in a more responsive manner to guide clients towards outcomes that reflect the clients' true motivations and essence.
Speakers:
Nathalie Boutet, Collaborative and Mediation Partner at Basman Smith LLP.
Linda J. Page, Co-author of Coaching with the Brain in Mind and Professional Coach

Smaller companies often don't have the budget or the inclination to hire a full-time professional to manage their marketing and communications needs. But they often neglect an area where they sorely need assistance, help that could result in happier clients and improved sales results. A committed Marketing and communications professional who works perhaps only 2-4 days a month, still watched out for opportunities to help the company throughout the month, sees trends and opportunities for the company and then implements them during the contracted work period. Whether it's a unique sponsorship, a PR opportunity or a chance to get an important company message out to clients and the media, having one person dedicated to enhancing the company's brands and image can pay huge dividends.
"The difference between the right word and the almost right word is like the difference between lightning and the lightning bug.” Mark Twain
The key to your organization’s marketing and communications starts with the most apt and relevant words. The best solutions demonstrate concision and clarity of thought and word. The right words and elegant use of language are the building blocks that your business needs to grow and succeed.
"Eva is an excellent listener….and when I was struggling with ideas, Eva was able to get at the heart of the matter. She will dance with you. When editing my text, she magically shaped and transformed regular sentences into dynamic professional text. This was crucial for the development of my website. Eva goes beyond marketing and communications strategies…she enabled me to organize my priorities and empowered me with the possibilities to move forward.”
